Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala, 21/04/2025 – Chalakudy Vanasree, a consistent presence at the iconic Thrissur Pooram Exhibition, is celebrating its 15th year of participation this season. The popular exhibition, a significant event alongside the famed Thrissur Pooram festival, has once again drawn Vanasree to showcase its strong lineup of NTFP (non-timber forest products) offerings to the large influx of visitors. The responsibility for managing the Chalakudy Vanasree stall has been entrusted to Chembam Kandam Bharathamala Vana Samrakshana Samithi (VSS), ensuring a dedicated team is on hand to engage with visitors.
This year’s exhibition boasts an impressive array of approximately 200 stalls, providing a diverse shopping experience for attendees. Adding to the attraction are over 10 pavilions representing various government and non-governmental departments, offering insights into their respective activities and initiatives. The current edition of the Thrissur Pooram Exhibition commenced on April 12th and will continue until May 31st, offering ample opportunity for the public to explore the various stalls and pavilions.
