Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala – The annual trade and marketing fair, PRADARSHINI 2K25, is in full swing, bringing together students, entrepreneurs, and a variety of unique products. As it marks its 7th successful year, the fair, organized by the 2021 batch of the College of Co-operation, Banking and Management, is proving to be a true “Stage for Tomorrow’s Good.”
This year, one of the standout features is the impressive display of Vanasree Products. These non-timber forest products, sourced directly by the Tribal community from the Chalakudy Forest Development Agency (Kerala Forest Department), are drawing significant attention from visitors. The exhibit showcases a wide variety of sustainable goods, highlighting the rich resources of the region’s forests and the importance of responsible harvesting.
PRADARSHINI 2K25, which began on August 18th, is more than just a marketplace; it’s a creative platform led entirely by students. Its core mission revolves around environmental friendliness, supporting small-scale industries and cooperative institutions, and fostering entrepreneurship. The inclusion of Vanasree products perfectly aligns with this vision, emphasizing sustainability and local enterprise.
The fair is a testament to new ideas and a collaborative spirit, offering a valuable learning experience for the students while providing a significant boost to local businesses. The exhibition will continue to be open to the public until August 24, 2025.
